Show Notes 10.24.15

Sometimes you really get to go back in time, or at least catch a glimpse of the past. The Ellis gig at the Tiger Lounge would provide such a glimpse and was a real treat for fans of the proggy, more hard rocking side of the band. Due to out-of-town obligations, Natalie had to sit this one out. Determined to perform and excited about this new venue space, the band decided to keep the gig and perform as a prog power trio. The result was a fascinating look into the past and to the roots of the Ellis Ashbrook sound. Rife with remembrances of their youthful angst and musical prowess, the three of them were all smiles digging into some of their oldest material including four selections that have not been played since Natalie joined the band in 2006. If you missed this one, you missed out. This type of thing doesn’t happen every day.
